It is Not So Scary As HEERF Institutional Reporting Deadline Looms

The first quarterly reporting for the institutional portion of the Higher Education Emergency Relief (HEERF) Grant report is due Friday, Oct. 30, 2020. The report should include HEERF institutional expenditures through Sept. 30, 2020. Also, subsequent reports covering expenditures for each calendar quarter are due within 10 days of each quarter-end. The report must be posted to the institutions’ website in the same location where the institution disclosed the HEERF student grant portion. Remember: This information must be easily found and readily available on your website.

Remember to use the Department of Education final form since it was updated in October from the originally published on September 28.

The institution will need to confirm their expenditures are defensible with all information reported precise and accurate.
